Water Wells

With the aim of improving the agricultural crop and moving it from dry conditions to
irrigated, the Zoom In organization, with the support of French Expertise EF and
Education Foundation, supervised the drilling of an artesian water well in the Khan
Shaykhun area to irrigate approximately 50 hectares of dry land areas on Which
farmers used to rely on rain-fed agriculture to move to irrigated agriculture. It
benefits the farmers from irrigation of the land by cultivating the same land for three
seasons instead of one. In addition, it increases the quantities of the crop produced
as a result of irrigation especially after the drought that struck the regions due to the
lack of rain.
